This trending at-home drink appliance brand is the unique and inventive brainchild of 2 major beverage companies, Anheuser-Busch and Keurig Dr. Pepper. Taking inspiration from Keurig’s coffee machines, this appliance allowed users to mix their own at-home cocktails using specialty pods. This groundbreaking product allowed anyone to become their own at-home bartender and mix various tasty cocktails in record time. This ingenuity made it perfect for any event, from a quiet night in to a house party. 

The Challenge:

Inefficient Order Fulfillment and Transactional Sync

While prepping for its launch, this trending at-home drink appliance brand was facing a flurry of customer complaints and declining sales across its other appliance products. The problem was that their transactional emails were not in sync with their e-commerce order management system. They had a third-party e-commerce provider send both order confirmations and payment confirmations upon purchase, while their customer service team sent shipping confirmations manually after the order was processed. This caused delays and errors, resulting in very unhappy customers. The brand needed a way to streamline its order processing systems and overall transactional process to regain customer trust and build loyalty.

Theorem developed a custom marketing automation that included a complete system integration with clear data flows linking the clients’ channels (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Call Center, Ecomm Platform, and custom Cloud Data warehouses). This enabled seamless customer service and automated transactional messages that were aligned to all purchases. The newly implemented system of communications meant that human intervention was no longer needed to complete an order from start-to-finish, allowing for a much smoother order fulfillment process, especially during high-volume buying times such as the holiday season.
